Case Clock

The clock on my Vauxhall Agila has suddenly gone dead, everything else seems to be working. Help!?

There is no mention of a fuse relating to the clock in the owner's manual, so I can't identify the fuse number for the clock in case it is that. If it isn't the fuse, I'm stumped. Can anyone give any suggestions or possible solutions. Many thanks!

Even though there is no mention of a fuse for your clock it should have one though. It may be grouped with other accessories. That is how it usually goes. A typical fuse box will usually have several items on one fse. For example the radio, cig. lighter, and so on. Maybe you have a relay that powers the clock insted of a fuse. Otherwise here is something you could try... Find someone who has one like yours and ask them if they have had troublr with their clock and if so what did they do. More than likely the clock is just dead plain and simple. Something else you can try is to find someone who has one like yours and see if they will let you try their clock in your car. If theirs works in your car then you know what to do. Get a new clock or a good used one from a salvage yard. If no clock works in your car then it is time to check the wiring and check for a fuse or relay. You could try each fuse one at a time. Pull them out and see if they are good. You may find a bad one after all. Like I said the clock could be located on a fuse with other items. There may also be a seperate in line fuse for the clock by it self. If you can see or feel try and locate a wire that would have a in line fuse in it. Hope this helps you some.
