Led Alarm
Connecting an Led alarm?
I want to connect up a flashing led on my Suzuki Vitara that comes on when I switch off the ignition and goes out when the ignition's on. I'm not sure how I go about locating a terminal thats only live when the ignition is off.

Its easy , One wire goes to Live all the time .The other wire goes to the ign switch .
It works like this , 1...The live is plus all the time . The wire to the ignition is also live when the ignition is on.
This will give 2x live so the led will not light.
2.. When you switch off the ignition the wire from the ignition will become minus (to a led) the led then gets its earthing (minus) through the coil of the cars control relay,fuel pump abs system relay,etc etc.
This will only work with led lights ,any attempt to connect a bulb in this configuration will result in the control relay sticking on.
