Sony Vaio Service Download Help Needed?
Hi, i bought a sony vaio laptop off a friend yesterday (he had only used it for 2 days) and another friend of mine tried to restore the c drive back to factory settings but the restoration was interrupted half way through and alot of the services needed for the laptop were not added to it.
The task manager shows a list of the services (some are running and others are not), it also shows a list of processes and im not really sure whether im getting anywhere as these services seem to be taking ages to install (perhaps that could just be because there are so many of them) and im new to this laptop and desperate for some help!
Alot of services are missing from the computer including disk defragmentor and the clock synchronization program etc.

You can't get the full priveledge of service from buying off your friend. And how come you didn't check to see if it's not in good condition--not exactly that's it's not working right but it lacks a couple of stuff.
You should contact the manufacturer.
They'll give you full service if your friend still has the proof of purchase or maybe a receipt.
But I think there's a warrant you should be holding.
Take that to Sony Appliances.
Uhm, of course, where your friend originally bought it.
But if that's not possible, try the authentic branch nearest you.

maybe you can visit their site. What does it say in the manual it came with?
