Clock Temperature
how do I get my computer to over clock? and how can i monitor the core temperature?
This is mostly the capabilities of your motherboard. You can make the adjustments on the board or in the bios to overclock. That is if your motherboard allows it. The motherboard usually has a CPU temp reading which you can get a proggie (probably included with the motherboard if you have a correct one) to show.
You overclock slowly. Using the computer in cpu intensive ways with each step to be sure that you dont fry your chip (your CPU)
Read up on your cpu's max limits so you dont fry the chip
Get proper cooling so you dont fry the chip. Some fans may do it for lower level overclocking (not the stock fan in your computer though)
Water cooling is a must for higher level so you dont fry the chip. If using water cooling, make sure everything is sealed and keep an eye on water level so you dont fry the chip
Since you are asking this question, you obviously need to do a lot of research so you dont fry the chip
You will need to have a static guard so you dont fry the chip
You will need to learn how to properly spread the artic ice so you dont fry the chip
