What's the deal with my fake watch?
Okay, so I got a fake Seiko from a street guy in NYC. It works alright, and keeps time accurately (so far,) but it's a bit sophisticated for me. Please help me figure out what the following "features" do.
Encircling the hour numbers, on the outside of the dial, reads a series of numbers. Across the top, it says " 2 1.9 1.8 1.7..." all the way until 1.1. At the three-o-clock position, it begins to read "1 9 8 7" etc until it gets to 5, when it starts counting down in increments of .5. (With the same spacing.) There are no moving parts pointing to these numbers, no dials or anything.
Contained within the dial itself are three little mini-dial globe-like things. The first reads "10 20 30," the second reads "2 4 6" all the way to 12, and the third reads "15 30 45 60." These dials all have their own miniature hand, though the hand doesn't move.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure they're just for show, but on a real Seiko watch, what would they be measuring?
