What pick-up can I use for banjo & mandolin?
I wonder if any of you know if there is a pick-up on the market for a banjo or mandolin that can be easily removed and used between the two instruments in the same session.
I'm not after anything too expensive or in the higher standard of sound as I only have entry level instruments and wish to accompany a jam session at an open mic night.
At home I record the instruments with a microphone but I am more specifically looking for something more like a pick-up that uses a jack line for playing with a group.
Any ideas? Thanks.
I found a site Virtual Village that have a lot of pickups, mostly for guitars but they look small to fit on a banjo or a mandolin. it might be worth checkout, good luck!
