What parts do I need to make a sound recorder with a mechanism similar to a musical greeting card?
I came up with this idea for a locker prank but I'm not sure how to design what I need. I want to be able to have something recorded on a small device and then put it in someones locker and when they open their locker door, it plays back, just like a greeting card would. I dont know what parts I need though and it has to be small, portible, and moveable. Anybody have any ideas?
Things you need,
-Cheap Key Chain Recorder (for old people)
-10 cm long Stick or about
-Strings
-Duct Tape
You could buy one of those 15-20 seconds sound recorder devices.Hopefully you know what I'm talking about and they are not expensive at all. Record your speech and than place the device in the locker and secure it with duct-tape on the back wall of the locker..Now, duct-tape the wooden or plastic stick over the device but make sure that the duct tape does not cover either edges of the stick, you should have the edge of the stick sitting on top of the PLAY button..And than tie one end of the string to the locker door(inside) and the other end of it to the other edge of the stick.Also make sure that the length of the string is proportinal to the size of the locker because if nothing plays when they open the locker it would be very weird so run a test before finalizing your project and good luck.
I've done it before and we had Arnold Schwarzanagger's voice repeatadly sayin " who is your daddy and what does he do?" lol... She closed the locker and opened it again, sure enough same speech was played and that moment we were just LOAO---laughing our asses off............
