Vintage Hydroplane- Have you heard of a boat maker Named NATIONAL MARINE In Miami FL.?
I have a vintage 8 ft fiberglass Flat bottom/ Hydroplane with a 1959' 18hp Evinrude Fastwin, simplex controls and period correct steering wheel etc. The problem is that I am trying to register it in PA but I cannot find any info on the boat or the company that made it. Any help would be appreciated.
There is a book out on the history of fiberglass construction and it deals with the early builders. I remember something about National Marine but I wasn't as interested in FBR construction as my ex-wife.
