changing car gearbox to four on the floor from three on the tree?
Hey i have wanted to do this for many years, many because i would like a few extra gears for highway driving. Also this would allow for a lower first gear which is better for city driving. The car is an old holden kings wood straight 6 ute.
if you are really keen try a 5spd out of a vb commodore that is the last of the old red engines and the boxes are pretty good and cheap.if you cannot find 1 try a m20 or m21 gearbox and use your original bell housing and clutch set up(they bolt straight up with clutch plate change)
