Making a mechanical wooden arm/claw with syrnges???
In my science class, our teacher assigned everyone a different assignment. My teacher assigned me the hardest, i have to make a arm using wood (popsticle sticks,tubes, syringes) to make it move and lift an object. Does anyone know where I can get a step by step instructions to make one. I have no idea how to make one
You do not need a website when you have me!
1st: decide what main component you will use, you will NEED the popsicle sticks and mostly tubes
2nd: take a tube that is BENDY so it will move easily
3rd: go on google and look up electrical engineering so you can figure out how to make the motor so it will move
4th: make it magnetic: and use a barret, magnet as the thing you pick up
5th: the arm will have to move and hit a sensor and STOp for 1 second or so so it has time to pick up the object
6th: once it hits the sensor, it SHOULD ( many attempts will have to be made and adjustments to warn you) it should pick up your object
by the way, i know how to do this i did the same exact thing only in technology class, it took a while because made a program
depending on the tool you use it may take MORE time then you would hope
how long do you have for this project?
